Asian Chicken Lettuce Wraps with Sriracha Mayo

Jump to Recipe

Lettuce wraps are a perfect simple dinner. Ground Chicken, a few veggies, a yummy sauce and you have the perfect one pot dinner. Less dishes is always a plus! In this recipe we use Coconut Aminos vice soy sauce. Less sodium and a great natural alternative! I have made this recipe with ground turkey as well and it is just as delicious!

For this recipe you will need 1 pound of ground chicken, 2 carrots, 3-4 green onions, 1 yellow onion, 1/4 Cup Coconut aminos, 1 Teaspoon Rice Vinegar, 6 Minced Garlic Cloves, 1/2 Cup Mayo, 2 Tablespoons Sriracha, 1 Teaspoon White Sesame Seeds, and Butter or Bib Lettuce.

You want to first dice up your onion and set aside. Next Shred your carrots (about 1 cup shredded carrots). Slice your green onions.

Place a medium skillet on medium heat and add some olive oil. Once pan is hot cook your onions until soft about 4-5 minutes.

Add the ground chicken and cook until no longer pink.

In a small bowl mix together the coconut aminos, rice vinegar, and minced garlic.

Add to the skillet and mix it into the chicken mixture. Add in the shredded carrots. Cook on medium for another 3-5 minutes.

To make the sriracha mayo mix together 1/2 cup of mayo and 2 tablespoons of sriracha (or more depending on how spicy you want it).

Use butter lettuce leaves to serve. Add a few tablespoons of the chicken mixture to a butter lettuce leaf, top with green onions, white sesame seeds, and sriracha mayo.

Enjoy!

I was curious if you ever considered changing the structure of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?|

My programmer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP. I have always disliked the idea because of the costs. But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using WordPress on various websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform. I have heard good things about blogengine.net. Is there a way I can transfer all my wordpress posts into it? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
