So many carpet deodorizers sold at stores with unnecessary extra ingredients that can even cause respiratory issues in many who use them. So many of them are also fragrance filled using harmful chemicals. Making your own carpet deodorizer is super easy! I use this on my couch when I vacuum it as well! All you need is baking soda and any essential oil of choice! I like to use lemon at times as well as lavender but feel free to use whichever you like! During cold and flu season I will use Thieves essential oil to boost up that immunity!

I like to use a small mason jar but feel free to make a big batch of this and store it for use whenever needed!

I mix a cup of baking soda with about 10-20 drops of essential oil depending on how strong you want the scent.

I add both ingredients to a mason jar shake and close it tight. Then I shake it up so that everything gets mixed well and that is literally it! So fast so simple and easy and super cheap! You can purchase a big bulk bag of baking soda on Amazon, Costco, and many more places!
