1-Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

Minimal mess and a quick dessert? Sign me up! This is by far one of my favorite desserts to make when I am craving something sweet but do not want to pull out all my baking equipment. All you need is a mug and a few ingredients to make this awesome dessert! The chocolate glaze makes this cake taste great. No refined sugars, sweetened with Maple Syrup, and using Almond Flour makes this a low carb treat as well! Now enough of me blabbing lets get to the recipe!

All you need is a mug and a few ingredients to make this awesome dessert! The chocolate glaze makes this cake taste great. No refined sugars, sweetened with Maple Syrup, and using Almond Flour makes this a low carb treat as well!

  1. Mix up all the dry ingredients in the mug. Save one tablespoon of the Chocolate Chips to make the glaze
  2. Add in all the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix together with a fork until fully incorporated. Not the coconut oil, save that for the glaze.
  3. Cook in the microwave for 1 minute (maybe less or more depending on the strength of your microwave)
  4. In a small bowl add in 1/2 Teaspoon of coconut oil and 1 tablespoon of the dark chocolate chips. Put in the microwave for 30-45 seconds until fully melted.
  5. Poke holes in the mug cake with a toothpick and drizzle the melted chocolate on top and enjoy!
